@taxivid I am using a macbook I got in 2008. This camcorder is not compatible with it. No mac software included. I tried taking the card out and using a card reader like I usually do to get around this problem. I even tried recommended SD cards. No luck. I have used many camcorders on my mac with no problem in past. Google “Canon VIXIA HF R100 HD mac compatibility” to see more.
