    So I just got it …
    So I just got it out of the box but the image looks strange coming through the lcd screen. it looks as if it were some kind of sepia type but not sepia setting that was turned on. all the colors looked off. I still need to read the phone book sized manual and im sure i will figure it out. I have had experience with the Canon mini Dv cams he mentioned and they were able to handle the indoor low lighting that this cam either has a problem with or perhaps it is defective.

    @RoslynHasAFace …
    @RoslynHasAFace Nice, i’m thinking of getting a new camera within the next two years that’s high in quality. Right now i have an HDR CX100 which is okay for now, it gets what i want for my videos done right but i want to get more involved in film and buy a much higher end camera.

    well, i checked the …
    well, i checked the reviews before i bought it lol, apparently its compairable to a sony, I do have a test vid, its called 1080p test vid, creatively lol. Uhh, youtube compresses the files so you wont see it in full quality, but check it out, please. It comes with 20X zoom too, and yes, thats optical. It was not 150 dollars either lol, it was £180.00, thats without memory, thats about $270 + 80 for memory lol.

    @jonathanbain14 You …
    @jonathanbain14 You can’t ONLY take into account pixels (or in our case the fact that it takes 1080p vid), that’s not what makes a nice picture (or vid). (sorry for long comment)

    @jonathanbain14 I’d …
    @jonathanbain14 I’d love to see a test video (if you can post one) to compare it to this Canon. If it is better, than I’d love to get myself one too. But it’s like the people who say that they had a great deal on their 150$ point-and-shoot because it takes better pictures than the 1000$ dollar DSLR based on the fact that they have more mega pixels.

    does that sensor underneath the lens mean that you can’t put a converter on the camera or else it will have no focus

    They should have …
    They should have filmed this review with the canon, It may be cheaper and not look as pro as the “real” camera they filmed this with but in fact, film at a way higher quality. This video doesn’t even look like it’s 720p. Was it stretched from 480p?

    @bow2urepnoy – …
    @bow2urepnoy – biggg difference — all canon and sony cameras have OIS which technically suck because these under priced cameras still shake.. There a waste of time. (( The canon hf s11 )) which is better then the s10 is the only canon with Dynamic OIS which is a floating optimal image stabilizor – flash drive is also better then floating hard drive – hard drive and regular ois cause horribale recording shake when you are moving and filming. Always call 1800 ok canon & they answer all questions.

    @ryn7yen2 – OMG !! …
    @ryn7yen2 – OMG !! —> do not shake the camera man… Thats the dynamic image stabilizor,,, it is meant to move when you move the camera to prevent shaky recording,, you probaly already busted it or it will be close to becoming defective soon because you were shaking it !!! no camera under 1,200 dollars has this feature by the way – thats what makes these cameras in the 1,200 dollar range the best compared to the under priced replica’s.. You shouldve called 1800 ok canon before shaking it dude.
